Weekend Appts!! Therapy for Depression, Grief, and Anxiety
--- I'm here for you ---
--- I'm here for you ---
--- I'm here for you ---
This is true for everyone, of course, but depression, grief, and anxiety can make everything feel worse. When you are feeling overwhelmed, talking to someone who listens and cares can really help. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I offer therapy to people just like you who want to work things through while feeling seen and heard.
You matter and you're not alone.
My focus is YOU.
I work only with individual adults because I understand that you need to feel heard, relax, get re-energized, heal, and tap into your inner strengths. Here you'll find a safe space where you can sort things through and talk things out without being judged.
(In-office or video appts available on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays.)
Maybe you are someone who is always there for others and now
you find that you need some support for yourself.
You might feel taken for granted or invisible to others, but I see you!
Helpers -- personally, professionally, or both -- sometimes suffer from depression and anxiety as you forget that your cup also needs filled.
Some examples of Helpers include but are not limited to:
These are just some examples.
There are countless ways that you might be putting forth energy
and time to help make the world a better place ---
and now you find that you could use someone to
listen to you and help you, too.
There's no shame in seeking therapy for yourself.
YOU MATTER, TOO!
My Practice Is Certainly Not Limited to "Helpers"
(But Helpers Also Sometimes Need Help, Too)
Finding therapy beneficial in my own life, I became a therapist because I want to help others, especially those dealing with depression, grief, anxiety, life transitions, or spiritual concerns.
I earned my master’s degree in Community Counseling from Indiana University of PA (IUP) and became a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), in PA. I'm also a National Certified Counselor (NCC),
Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional, Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist, Certified Grief Movement Guide, and Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional.
I graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary and am ordained as a Presbyterian minister in the PC(USA).
(It's your choice as to whether or not spiritual counseling will be part of our time together.)
My style is relaxed and inviting as I believe the therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect of treatment. I'm available weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
This is a time when most therapists are not available.
YOU matter and your needs are not invisible to me.
